Join us for a Purim Costume Party!

YOUNG FAMILIES PURIM PARTY!

Put your littles in their cutest costumes and join us from 9:30am-11am as we celebrate Purim with our friends at Congregation Sherith Israel and PJ Library! There will be music, a fun Purim Spiel, crafts, hamentaschen, snacks, Purim goodie bags and lots of fun! This event is FREE and is designed for families with babies 0-5yr. Located in Newman Hall.

PURIM CARNIVAL

In addition to our young families event, in Newman Hall starting at 11am the fun will continue with the 5 and up crowd, and there will be games, a parade, snacks for sale, music, and more!

You can buy tickets for food and games: $20 for 50 tickets or $0.50 a ticket. This portion of the event will be from 11am-2pm.

All purchases benefit Sherith Israel Religious School and (SITY) Sherith Israel Temple Youth Group

GETTING THERE

Sherith Israel is easily accessible by Muni/bus lines along Fillmore (22) and Divisadero (24), and is a one block walk from the California line stop at Webster and Sacramento (1). Street parking is often available, and meters are free on Sundays and Holidays. You can also find parking at the CPMC garage (Clay between Webster and Fillmore). If you have a special need we may assist with and are planning to visit, please call (415- 346-1720).

Congregation Sherith Israel

Our programs are designed for families with children aged 0-36 months, but bring the whole family! Grandparents and extended family welcome. We always have great snacks, fun art supplies, and play spaces for older siblings too. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.
