Celebrate Shabbat and a countdown to summer with Jewish Baby Network and our Camp Newman friends. We will braid challah dough, sing along to live music, and bring the feeling of Shabbat at camp into a warm Friday afternoon.

Jennifer Altman with Jewish Baby Network is hosting a baby/tot corner with blankets, toys, and tot friendly snacks while Camp Newman’s Rabbi Allie leads a lively and joyful Shabbat song session. Sing along or clap your hands between braiding, and head home with a boost of Shabbat and camp spirit.

Our programs are designed for families with children aged 0-36 months, but bring the whole family! Grandparents and extended family welcome. We always have great snacks, fun art supplies, and play spaces for older siblings too. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.
